Across all generations

Holy Trinity endeavours to cater for people of all ages and needs.

Holy Trinity Church through worship services, ministry to children, young adults, families and older adults, seeks to give God all the glory He deserves. To enable this there are different events and the gathering of people from sections of the community every week.

Kids – Seekers

The Children’s Ministry at Holy Trinity is one of our most important and exciting ministries.

Every Sunday morning “Seekers” forms the children’s activity part of the 11am Family Church service.

Children from toddlers to primary school participate in singing and story time part of the Family Service before the prep to primary school ages move to the newly built Seekers rooms.

All our adult leaders undergo training and have current “Working with Children” checks and police checks.

Bible Study

Each fortnight we have a teen bible study that meets during the 11am Family Service. On alternate weeks, we often have a BBQ after the service for high school students to build friendships with one another and reflect on the church service.

.thrive. meets weekly on Fridays during school term. You can expect our Friday gatherings to have fun activities, a bible talk and an opportunity to discuss our faith with one another.

Time – 7:30-9pm
Where – Meet at Holy Trinity Church

Uni Students

We’re located just down the hill from LaTrobe University, which makes us a great location for students to come and worship.

Each Monday night during term we have a free meal for university students, which attracts students from a range of courses.

The meal kicks off at 6pm on Mondays and often there are things happening afterwards which you can stick around for.

Seniors ministry strives to encourage participation, a sense of belonging and acceptance as well as service to others. We also seek to encourage compassion and support of each other in times of need is vital.

There are a number of programs and activities for Seniors that include:

  • 9am Sunday Traditional Service
  • Pastoral visiting by appointment
  • Blokes Barn
  • Trinity Ladies – a group for women
  • Lifegroups (small groups)

Small groups are part of the life blood of any healthy church.

For that reason we take seriously the small group program in our parish called “Lifegroups”.

There are Lifegroups meeting through the week at different times in different places for different groups of people Lifegroups are strategic to being people of Welcome – Word – Worship – Witness.

Community garden

The Community Garden project is on hold at the moment due to a number of factors.

If you are interested in this ministry then please make contact with the church office.

Here is a description of our initial plan (and hopefully our future plan) for the garden.

The gardening will be based on no-dig layering and organic principles – comprising primarily of raised garden beds (apple crates) for increased accessibility.

There will be a number of plants in the garden;

  • vegetables
  • herbs
  • fruit trees
  • companion plants (marigolds & nasturtiums)
